I’ve been on cars, trains, buses, helicopters, boats and cruise ships to get from destination A to B, but here’s nothing quite exhilarating like travelling on a plane and being at the airport beforehand.
You see, airports are my happy place. My fascination towards airports not only revolves around architecturally-splendid structures, but also the ceaseless movements of other travellers and their loved ones.
There’s never been a better place to people-watch and witness a spectrum of emotions than at the airport. It brings me joy to observe interactions between people: whether someone is bidding farewell to those embarking on a mini-break they so rightfully deserve; or those watching the minutes trickle into seconds as they anticipate the arrival of their loved ones.
Airports also gives me a sense of hope that I am the pilot of my life and I can steer it in any direction and destination that I want to. That I am about to be hundreds or thousands miles away from comfort and yet create interesting chapters in my life, which begins at none other than @malaysiaairports.
Thank you @malaysiaairports for allowing me to witness sincere goodbyes and joyful hellos as well as allowing my dreams to take flight throughout the years of air travel. #MYJoyfulAirport
